EmailTray Inbox

After you click Save, EmailTray automatically checks new mail and builds a list of messages: you will be taken to the Unread Mail list that contains all unread messages (of the top, low and no priority folders).

At this point, you can tap on a message in the list to open it for reading, or long-press to get the message's Context Menu, which contains these options:

  • Change priority – Assign another priority to a sender (all messages, received in the past and future, will be moved to the appropriate priority folder);
  • Mark as unread - Unset the Message Read flag;
  • Delete - Delete the message (Move it to the Trash folder);
  • Move to Spam – Move the message to the Spam folder and tell EmailTray to regard this sender as spam;
  • Select all – Select all messages in the list.

When the message is open by clicking the Menu button you will find the following options:

  • Reply to all - Compose a reply to the sender and all other recipients
  • Forward - Forward the message by email
  • Delete - Delete the message (Move it to the Trash folder)
  • Mark as unread - Unset the Message Read flag
  • Change priority - Assign another priority to a sender (all messages, received in the past and future, will be moved to the appropriate priority folder)
  • Spam - Move the message to the Spam folder

Starred messages

You can mark a conversation or message with a star that appears next to the message in the list of messages. Stars can be an eye-catching way to mark a special message or a visual reminder to follow up on a message later.

To star a message from your list, click the star icon next to the required message. The starred messages remain in the priority folder where you marked it. If you need to look through all starred messages, slide to the Starred list of messages.

Emails arranged by contacts

Another option available with EmailTray is viewing messages 'Arranged by contacts'. This means that messages are grouped under the contacts they were sent from. It makes searching messages from a particular contact really easy and fast, especially when you receive quite a number of emails every day.

Composing messages

To create a new message, click the Menu button and click Compose. To save the message as a draft, add Cc/Bcc and add an attachment to the message, click Menu once again.

Adding contacts to your smartphone address book

To add a contact to the Address Book tap on the 'From' field:  you will be asked if you would like to add the contact to the Address Book (further steps may vary depending on the phone model and Android version) but you will be able to create the entry and add more data (more email addresses, a phone number, an address, a birth date, etc.) to the contact.
